Community Manager
Community Manager
Landfolk is looking for a passionate, structured and relationship-driven Community Manager to join our team full-time in Aarhus.
This is a really interesting opportunity for someone who loves building connections and scaling them. You’ll be at the heart of our host community efforts, helping us deliver on our Community strategy through scalable, creative initiatives that foster true belonging for our hosts across Europe.
If you’re excited by the idea of crafting joyful community moments that work for 20,000 hosts, working with Shape Up methodology and cross-functional pitches, and contributing to a brand that’s deeply human on the outside and smartly tech-driven on the inside - we’d love to hear from you.
What you will be doing
At Landfolk, community is more than just support and events - it’s a strategic lever. You’ll play a key role in turning ideas into shipped initiatives, alongside a talented, supportive and warm team. Your responsibilities will include:
Scale community initiatives: Develop and roll out repeatable concepts that strengthen our host community across markets - always rooted in insight, relevance, and emotional connection.
Work in pitches: Collaborate on pitch cycles, contributing to research, prototyping, testing, and delivery.
Plan and host events & workshops: Design and execute mainly online and also sometimes in-person moments that build relationships and make hosts feel proud to be part of Landfolk.
Build meaningful relationships at scale: Balance one-to-one empathy with one-to-many thinking - making each host feel seen, even in a crowd.
Write with warmth and clarity: Craft host communication (emails, invites, guides, flows) that educates, motivates and feels genuinely human.
Support community operations: work closely with our student helper to handle practicalities like preparing materials, coordinating shipments and making sure the little things are just right.
Who you are
You are someone who thrives where people, structure and storytelling meet.
You have 3–4+ years of relevant experience, ideally within community building, brand activation, experience design or similar.
You’re both empathetic and operationally sharp - you can build strong relationships, but also structure and scale them.
You’re fluent in Danish and English - plus points if you also speak Norwegian, Swedish, French, Italian or Spanish.
You’re comfortable taking initiative and working in a fast-paced, pitch-driven environment - and you love having clear focus and making a difference for Landfolk.
What we offer
A chance to make a real impact in a scaleup that values quality, creativity and community.
A warm and collaborative team, including people with deep experience from the industry and within community building
The opportunity to be part of a company that works across seven European markets, with room to learn, grow and explore.
A flexible, family-friendly workplace in central Aarhus, with excellent lunch, beautiful interiors and delicious coffee.
Trips to actual Landfolk homes (yes, it’s as wonderful as it sounds).
Why Landfolk?

At Landfolk, community is not a buzzword. It’s the beating heart of our brand and you’ll be helping shape what it means to thousands of hosts across Europe.
