Product Manager
Full-time · Based in Aarhus · Starting spring 2026
Landfolk is looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of one of our core product tracks - the live product experience. You'll help shape and improve our product ultimately making exceptional stays effortless to discover, host, and experience.
About the role
We’re not looking for someone who just manages backlogs and tickets. We need someone who understands that great products are evolved through continuous improvement - by identifying friction, spotting opportunities, and turning small changes into meaningful impact.
At the same time, the way we build products is changing. With AI, the speed of iteration is increasing, and the gap between idea and execution is shrinking. That means we’re not just improving the product - we’re redefining how the product is designed, built and tested. In this role, you’ll be working at that intersection: using new tools and establishing new approaches to move faster, learn quicker, and ship better.
You’ll work across the existing product experience for both guests and hosts - from search and booking to host tools and internal workflows - ensuring that everything we’ve already built keeps improving and scaling with the business.
You will adapt the overall product strategy and play a key role in executing on it, evolving it, and making it real in the product - faster and more iteratively than before.
What you'll actually do
Your work will focus on the live product and incremental improvements:
Identify friction and opportunities across the guest and host journeys
Drive small to mid-sized improvements that increase conversion, retention, and usability
Continuously improve core product areas like search, booking, communication, and onboarding
Define and run AB testing
Work closely with data, customer insights, and support teams to understand real user problems
Collaborate with the rest of the product team to shape product opportunities into clear scopes for upcoming cycles
Follow up on shipped work and iterate based on real usage and performance
Ensure quality, consistency, and coherence across the product
You’ll be responsible for turning insight into shipped improvements - again and again.
About you
Maybe you started as an engineer who kept asking, “Why are we building this?” Maybe you came from design and cared more about outcomes than pixels. Or maybe you’ve been in product from day one. What matters is that you’ve shipped products that solved real problems for real people.
You’ve experienced the journey from startup to scale and understand what breaks along the way. You know when to add process and when to keep things simple - and you’re comfortable adapting as things change.
You care about building great user experiences, but you’re equally driven by building commercially strong products. You understand that delight without revenue doesn’t last, and revenue without value doesn’t scale.
You’re comfortable working in complex products with multiple users, dependencies, and trade-offs. You understand strategy and how to turn it into action. You’re hands-on by nature: you dig into problems, work across the organisation to understand them from different angles, and map clear, pragmatic solutions. You collaborate closely with design, engineering, and business stakeholders to move things forward - and you follow through all the way from idea to execution and into the live product. You track performance, learn from real usage, and keep improving until the problem is truly solved.
You work well with others. You bring clarity, move things forward, and help teams align without slowing them down. And importantly, you’re able to adapt quickly, learn fast, and adjust your approach as the context evolves - because that’s what building products today requires.
What makes this role different
This isn't a big company product role where you'll spend months discussing and debating different paths forward. You'll have real influence on what we build and how we build it. Your decisions will ship to production, not disappear into committees. You'll work directly with the people building the product. Less stakeholder management, more product work.
You'll work on a product that matters to real people. Hosts who depend on us for income, and guests creating memories with family and friends. When you make the product better, you'll see it in their messages and reviews.
Working at Landfolk
We work hybrid from our beautiful office in Aarhus. You'll have flexibility to work from home some days, but we believe the best products come from teams that actually work together. We care more about the work you produce than the hours you keep.
What it's like to work here:
Low-distraction work environment: Focus on product work without constant meetings, "important" emails or one-off requests
Being part of a great team: Work alongside specialists in tech, business, design, community and communication who love collaborating
Flexible hybrid working: Split your time between our beautiful office and home, with flexible hours
Culture: Casual tone, lots of laughs, and room for diversity. We're an entrepreneurial company full of drive and great team spirit
Great coffee and food: Outstanding coffee, and we love to gather and celebrate – eating well while we do
Real ownership of product direction
Regular trips to beautiful holiday homes (market research, obviously)
The practical stuff
This is a full-time hybrid position based in or around Aarhus. You'll work from our office several days a week, with flexibility for remote work on other days. We're looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
We want to see evidence of your product thinking. Show us products you've shipped. Tell us about a product decision you made that was unpopular but right. Share your thoughts on what makes a great marketplace.
We'll review applications on a rolling basis. No AI screening, no automated rejections – real humans will read what you send.
When you apply, include:
Examples of products you've shaped or shipped
A product you admire (not your own) and why
Your take on the biggest product challenge facing vacation rental marketplaces
A few paragraphs on why Landfolk's product challenge interests you
References from people who've worked closely with you
We're not looking for the perfect CV. We're looking for someone who can make our product more coherent, more focused, and more valuable to the people who use it.
Landfolk helps people search for the exceptional and find the unforgettable. We're building Europe's most ambitious platform for premium holiday homes, and we need someone to ensure it all makes sense.
